These search engines provide different audiences, different traffic levels and different prices. Try them all out and see which works best for you.
General shoulder pain searches are just as desperate, and have lots of volume. |
These keywords are aimed at rotator cuff injuries specifically. This is a big market of very desperate people. |
Other angles to consider:
Here are some sample ads to get you going. It is strongly recommended that you create your own variations of any ads you decide to copy from here and run them side by side to pick out the best performers.
Remember - shock, surprise, humour and controversy = clicks. Grab attention, and make big claims, but don't outright lie or over-exaggerate.

Another tip to pick out potential buyers - include the price in your ad text. That way people know they're clicking on something that costs money, and anyone who's not prepared to spend money won't waste your CPC! Be sure to check the sales page often though, as we're constantly split testing our offer to improve conversions.
To help you better optimise and Google AdWords or Yahoo Ads campaigns you are running, we provide a feature whereby you can automatically insert your tracking ID into our thank you page.
Simply add an extra parameter to your hop links, and we'll do the rest.
But what's the special code? When you're creating your campaigns you'll be given some JavaScript to track conversions by your advertising provider (Google or Yahoo).
Most of that JavaScript is the same for everyone.. the bit that differs is your unique, special tracking code. And that's what we need. It's highlighted in red below:
Google <script type="text/javascript"> try { var pageTracker = _gat._getTracker("UA-6957428-1"); pageTracker._trackPageview(); } catch(err) {}</script> <!-- Google Code for Sale Conversion Page --> <script language="JavaScript" type="text/javascript"> <!-- var google_conversion_id = 123456789; var google_conversion_language = "en_GB"; var google_conversion_format = "1"; var google_conversion_color = "ffffff"; var google_conversion_label = "..."; if (49.95) { var google_conversion_value = 49.95; } //--> </script>
Yahoo <SCRIPT language="JavaScript" type="text/javascript"> <!-- Yahoo! Inc. window.ysm_customData = new Object(); window.ysm_customData.conversion = "transId=,currency=,amount="; var ysm_accountid = "123ABC123ABC123ABC123ABC"; document.write("<SCR" + "IPT language='JavaScript' type='text/javascript' " + "SRC=//" + "srv3.wa.marketingsolutions.yahoo.com" + "/script/ScriptServlet" + "?aid=" + ysm_accountid + "></SCR" + "IPT>"); // --> </SCRIPT>
All you have to do is extract that highlighted bit, and insert it into your hop link. We'll do the rest, and insert it automatically so you can track conversions.
For example:
Google: http://xxx.getstrong.hop.clickbank.net/?g=123456789
Yahoo!: http://xxx.getstrong.hop.clickbank.net/?y=123ABC123ABC123ABC123ABC
Of course, you can also add other parameters to your link, including the keyword page (see above), and ClickBank's own "TID" tracking ID.
There are 10 articles here. I will be adding more in the future. Feel free to take them, rewrite them and republish them wherever you like.
There are loads of sites you can create content on which already have great PageRank and so show up in Google very well. You can create hugely complicated pages, or very simple pages - it's up to you! The best thing to do is to create reviews or summaries of the product, or a short presell that's highly targeted to a particular keyword.
Here's some sites you can create content on:
There are tons more though, so keep your eyes peeled. Any time you find a site that you can create content on, you can use that to springboard your promotional efforts by leveraging their traffic, authority and PageRank.
Also be sure to bookmark your new pages with a FREE tool like Social Marker.
Get involved in blogs and forums. They're incredibly powerful for demonstrating your knowledge and authority, and so when you make a recommendation for a product, people will take you seriously (don't forget our product is doubly approved by medical professionals, so it's an easy sell!).
Post comments on relevant blogs, and either include your affiliate link directly or link to one of your review pages. Don't spam though, as this won't get you anywhere, and definitely won't bring results in the form of sales.
Post plenty of useful stuff on forums too, get involved in conversations and give your opinion. Ask questions which lead to discussions about relevant issues, and then subtly work in a recommendation for the product. Also put your affiliate URL in your signature, so it gets shown on all your posts.
Create your own short review videos, or short stretch and exercise videos which perhaps demonstrate one or two exercises (we have some in the works, hopefully coming soon), then put your affiliate link at the end of the video.
Perhaps use something like TinyURL to mask the URL, and then submit your video to as many public video sites as you can. HeySpread is a fantastic tool for mass video submission.
Lots of people who see the sales page search for "Shoulder Pain No More review", and various similar phrases. Anyone with a well targeted favourable review who can rank well is virtually guaranteed to make sales.
